What This Visa Offers:

1. Live, work, and study in New Zealand without restrictions.

2. Include your partner and dependent children (aged 24 and under) in your application.

Points System:

To be eligible, you must have at least 6 points. Here's how you can earn them:

1. Qualifications, Registration, or Income (3 to 6 points):

   • Bachelor's degree or higher

   • New Zealand occupational registration

   • Income level Note: You can't combine points from these categories.

2. New Zealand Work Experience (up to 3 points):

   • 1 point for each year of skilled work in NZ, maximum of 3 points

   • These points can be added to your qualification, registration, or income points

Employment Requirements:

Your job must be:

• With an accredited employer

• Either full-time and permanent, or

• Fixed-term for at least 12 months, or

• A contract for services of at least 6 months

Important Notes:

1. If you were invited to apply before 9 October 2023, you can use the previous visa criteria, which allowed points for overseas work experience and current skilled employment in New Zealand.

2. The new system focuses more on New Zealand-based skills and experience.
