The Accredited Employer Work Visa category allows accredited New Zealand employers to hire international migrant workers. To become an accredited employer, businesses must meet specific criteria and undergo a three-step process:
Employer Check
Verification of your business operations, compliance with employment standards, and settlement support activities.
Job Check
Providing details about the job position, including occupation, job description, and employment agreement. Conducting a labor market test to demonstrate efforts to recruit New Zealand employees.
Migrant Check
Ensuring the migrant employee is suitable for the proposed job and meets the requirements to work in New Zealand.
Types of Accreditation
Standard Accreditation: For employers who want to employ up to 5 migrant employees.
High Volume Accreditation: For employers who want to employ more than 5 migrant employees.
